The upcoming workshop on the topic of business and human rights will be held by the Embassy of Switzerland in Indonesia, together with SwissCham Indonesia.

The event will feature a keynote speech on Indonesia's newly released National Strategy on Business and Human Rights (Stranas BHAM) by Dr. Dhahana Putra, Director-General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, as well as practical interactive sessions led by experts from the Foundation for Human Rights Reporting Standards (FIHRRST).

FIHRRST was established in 2015 by a group of internationally recognized experts with the objective to develop and advance human rights governance standards. Its vast experience in implementing projects and delivering training sessions on business and human rights has been showcased through its work with a multitude of stakeholders, including governments, the business sector, and civil societies.

Subsequently, Professor Christine Kaufmann, Chair of the OECD Working Party on Responsible Business Conduct and professor at the University of Zurich, will hold a webinar on the updated OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct and National Contact Points, which will include the presentation of case studies.
