    Musdhalifah Machmud was born in Ujung Pandang on September 13, 1964. She received her Bachelor's degree in Forest Management at the Bogor Agricultural Institute (1987). Then she completed her Masters degree at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) majoring in Development Studies (2003) and attended a postgraduate course at the International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences (ITC), Enschede, The Netherlands in 1992, and earned a Doctor of Business Management degree, at the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) in 2020.

    In addition, she actively participates in several trainings, short courses and seminars, including: Leadership (Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance/AIPEG, 2014); EAS Workshop on bio-fuels (Ministry of Energy Bangkok, 2008); Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Meeting Management (AIPEG-IPDC-Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, 2012); and Training on Decision-Making in Natural Resources Management: Economic for The Environment (The International Agricultural Center-Wagenigen, 2004). She was awarded the Satyalancana Karya Satya XXX Year Service award in 2014 for her hard work, dedication and achievement.

    Prior to serving as Deputy for Food and Agribusiness Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs since 2020, she has held positions as Deputy for Food and Agriculture Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (2015-2020); Assistant Deputy for Plantation and Horticulture at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (2013-2015); Assistant Deputy for Plantation and Horticulture Affairs at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (2009-2013); Head of Production and Distribution of Plantations/ Acting Assistant Deputy for Plantation and Horticulture Affairs of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (2007-2009); Head of Agricultural Production at Deputy Assistant I/II/ Acting Assistant Deputy for Agriculture and Maritime Affairs at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (2006-2007); Head of Utilization of Natural Resources Forestry at Deputy Assistant 2-III of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs (2003-2006); Head of Wetland Ecosystem Conservation Section at the Directorate General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation, Ministry of Forestry (2002-2003).

    Philipp Orga is the Head of Economic Cooperation and Development at the Swiss Embassy in Indonesia Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Orga served as Program Manager at the Multilateral Cooperation Division at the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) in Bern. Switzerland.

    Before joining the Swiss Government, Mr. Orga worked as a consultant at the Inter-American Develooment Bank IDB, as well as at the United Nations Development Program UNDP.

    He holds Master of Arts in International Affairs from the American University in Washington DO and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Geneva and SciencesPo in Paris

    Syahrudi's journey in the field of agriculture began in 1998 when he joined Nestle Coffee Development Programs as a Coffee Agronomist. Syahrudi journey in the field of agriculture with Nestlé began in 1998, when he joined as Coffee Agronomist in Coffee Development Programs. Armed with a passion for sustainable farming and a deep understanding of coffee cultivation, Syahrudi immersed himself in the world of coffee production, working closely with local farmers to improve their farming practices and increase coffee yields.

    After gaining valuable experience in the coffee farming area, in 2006 Syahrudi's was promoted as an expatriate to Nestlé Sri Lanka to the position of Dairy Area Manager. In this role, Syahrudi was responsible for overseeing the dairy operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of milk collection centers, and coordinating with farmers to maintain a steady supply of high-quality milk. Continued with the expatriation to Nestlé India to lead the development of a new dairy area in Nestlé India. With his knowledge of dairy management and his ability to establish strong relationships with farmers.

    In 2008, Syahrudi's career took him back to Nestlé Indonesia, where he assumed the position of Dairy Development Manager. In this role, he worked passionately to improve dairy farming practices, enhance milk quality, and improve the farmers livelihood. Through implementing innovative techniques and providing training to farmers, Syahrudi supported the creation of sustainable dairy operations in Indonesia for Nestlé as well as for farmers and cooperatives, including initiating the biogas program to help mitigate the environmental impact, improve farmer’s family health and provide a renewable energy source for domestic usage.

    Recognizing Syahrudi's exceptional skills and leadership, Nestlé promoted him to the position of Head of Milk Procurement and Dairy Development in 2013. In this influential role, he spearheaded initiatives to continuously improve dairy farming practices, promote animal welfare, and enhance the overall sustainability impact of Nestlé’s dairy supply chain.

    In 2020, Syahrudi's dedication to sustainable agriculture and his proven track record of success led to his appointment as the Head of Corporate Sustainable Agriculture, overseeing dairy, coffee, and grain sourcing. In this executive position, he played a key role in implementing and driving Nestlé’s corporate sustainability agenda, working closely with farmers, suppliers, and stakeholders to promote sustainable farming practices, reduce environmental impact, and improve the livelihoods of farmers worldwide.

    Throughout his career, Syahrudi has been a driving force in the agricultural industry, leveraging his expertise and passion to make a positive impact on the coffee and dairy sectors. His commitment to sustainable farming and his ability to forge strong partnerships have not only contributed to Nestlé’s growth and success but also to the overall advancement of the agricultural community.
